A Bug’s Life

A Bug’s Life  – August 12, 2016

Even though my camera is continually pointed at a flower bed, I rarely see any ladybirds or any other bug life I would like to photograph (macro spider shots are not for me…aargh!). So whilst sitting on a bench in a beautiful and bountiful walled garden near my home, I came upon this common darter dragon fly, who allowed me to get super close with my macro lens! Hopefully he and his friends will agree to another impromptu photoshoot soon!
