Working and collaborating with creatives is one of the privileges and joys of dance photography. So it was wonderful to work with Lauren Speirs, a choreographer based in Dublin, from Balletproject[d]. In October 2019 Balletproject[d] performed ‘Grey Matter’ comprising 2 pieces ‘Rational Creatures’ and ‘Ensnared’ in the historic Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin, Ireland. A mix of classical and contemporary dance with a very talented group of international dancers, the Irish audience was in for a treat! Such a bonus to support an all-female team of creatives too! I look forward to their next performances.
